A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred in the borough of Mechanicsville between 12:55 and 1:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Justin Marx, 21, of Cumbola, was riding an all terrain vehicle (ATV) in the area of 1265 Pottsville St., when he threw a large rock at a parked 2005 Ford Explorer smashing the windshield. He then fled the scene. The Ford is owned by Justina Rollman, 24, of that address.Marx was charged with criminal mischief, troopers said.
