Lehighton man facing charges

A Lehighton man is facing several charges following an incident at his home.

Borough police were called to the home of Mark S. Gingles, 47, of 102 Bridge St., Apt. B, for a report of a disturbance. Police did not indicate what day and what time.At the scene Gingles was found yelling profanities from the second floor balcony. He also threatened to kill the police officers.After police were able to make physical contact with Gingles and take him into custody, he continued to fight with the officers and resist themHe was arraigned before District Judge Bruce Appleton, of Palmerton, on charges of terroristic threats, resisting arrest, possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of persistent disorderly conduct.Gingles was committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning in lieu of $15,000 bail.Borough police were assisted by Franklin Township police and state police at Lehighton.
