State police at Lehighton are investigating a identity theft incident.

Allen Peter Smith, of 131 Mulberry Drive, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, reported someone used his Social Security number at 6620 Old Madison Pike, Apt. 411, in Huntsville, Ala. The incident was reported on Friday, Aug. 19, at 1:30 p.m.
