State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of six traffic signs.

The signs were stolen from the Valley View Estates in Penn Forest Townshp, Carbon County. The signs, valued at $250, were taken sometime between 3 p.m. on Aug. 16 and 3 p.m. on Aug. 17.Troopers are also probing a criminal mischief incident in the same development. Kathyn Goode, of 102 Patten Circle, reported someone took a rock and threw it at her home and it caused a storm glass window to shatter. The incident occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 16 and 4:05 a.m. on Aug. 17.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at (570)-646-2271.
