Monroe man being sought

Pocono Mountain Regional police are seeking the whereabouts of a Monroe County man who is wanted on three criminal counts.

Police said the incident that led to the charges occurred about 2 p.m. on July 23 along SR115 near WT Family campground in Blakeslee.Police said Michael Christian Boileau, 40, of Ablrightsville, was riding in the back seat of a car traveling southbound and operated by his mother, Pauline Passio. Boileau grabbed the steering wheel of the vehicle causing Passio to lose control of the car.The vehicle left the roadway and crashed. Passio sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment.Police said also in the car at the time was Boileau's wife, Carrrie A. Reinhart, and their six-year-old son. After the crash Boileau took the boy and fled the scene.Police have filed three counts of recklessly endangering another person against Boileau and are seeking his whereabout. He is also wanted on other unrelated charges, police added.
