A Tamaqua woman was cited Friday after challenging Tamaqua police following a domestic dispute.

Officers were called to 175 Penn St. at 4:42 p.m. to deal with a reported unwanted person.At the scene they found David Cipko, 33, and Shannon Quinn, 24, of 421 Glenwood Ave.Cipko told police Quinn had been staying at his home for a short while but suddenly left early that morning. Quinn said she was trying to retrieve her belongings.Quinn refused the officers request to calm down and stop yelling. Instead, she threatened to "break every window in the house."When she continued to not heed the officer's request she was taken into custody and transported to the police station.She was cited for disorderly conduct.
