Carbon driver facing DUI count

A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14, along SR903, just south of SR534, in Penn Forest Township.

State police at Lehighton said Joseph Plummer, 25, of Albrightsville, was stopped after being observed driving erratically. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. Troopers said Plummer did not pass a breath test and the DUI charge is pending.
