State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a recklessly endangering incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said about 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, Stanley Adams, of 373 Swopes Valley Road, in Pine Grove Township, was sitting on his front porch when a blackJeep Cherokee approached his home. As the Jeep got close to the residence it slowed downAt this point a front seat passenger, identified as a white male in his mid-20s, pointed what appeared to be a BB gun or air rifle out the window at the home and fired one shot.The projectile struck the residence on the left front entryway putting a small crack in the siding.The vehicle then fled the scene.Adams was not injured in the incident, troopers noted.
