Christmas in August

This Sunday, Aug. 14 at Salem St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kresgeville, they will sing Christmas carols and collect "gifts" for PVEN such as new sneakers, socks, undies, gently used sheets and blankets.Visitors are invited to stay after worship for a Christmas brunch.Garden helpers are still needed to help beautify the church gardens by weeding.Weeders will start at the library garden and work toward the Sunday school wing. Come when your schedule permits.Bring a bucket, garden gloves and hand tools. Place weeds in parking lot dumpster.Gardening is great exercise for the mind and body.
