Steel cage bouts set for Carbon Fair, Sun.

Professional wrestling returns to the Carbon County Fair on Sunday, with match time set for 4 p.m.

There's a double main event, both of them steel cage matches.The Rebel with Mr. Saturday Night, currently the tag team champions in the Lehigh Valley Wrestling Federation, opposes Dominic Monroe with Kras Van Tasse.The other steel cage match has Tech, a former LVW heavyweight champion who is one of the most arrogant performers in the squared circle, takes on "Pretty Boy" Eric Hiller.There are nine bouts scheduled on the card. A $5 admission fee for audience members six years and older is charged, in addition to the fair's general admission charge.In a championship bout, Kekoa the Flyin' Hawaiian puts the belt on the line against Cody Adams, one of the most disliked people on the LVW tour.Adams vows to leave Palmerton wearing the belt. Kekoa says this would be an injustice to the fans.The opening bout has Chris Envy, the self-proclaimed prince of punk, meeting an opponent of his selection.Former friends Gunny Carson and Roadblock Chad McCoy bring their disagreement to the ring in what promoters promise to be a tension-filled bout.Lovebug, one of the most popular grapplers in the LVW, will be taking on Wydham James Wintorpe III in a "flag on a pole" match.Two younger grapplers, Rex Taylor and The Jersey Kid, will be trying to make a statement in LVW as they meet each other.In a special tag team match, SPF versus The Westies.There will be a six-man tag team match. On one side is The Batari. The other side consists of Vince Goodnight, Ice Cream Man, and Lil Scrappy. This will be the best of three falls.Sunday is the last day of the fair, which opened on Wednesday.Tonight and Saturday, demolition derbies will be featured.The derby tonight starts at 7 o'clock, while on Sunday it begins at 6 p.m.

LVW heavyweight champion Kekoa the Flyin' Hawaiian will defend his pro wrestling title Sunday at the Carbon County Fair in Palmerton.
