A Slatington driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident in the borough.

Police said Tiffany Lloyd, 20, of 8715 Furance Rd., was stopped for a traffic violation about 8:28 p.m. on July 27 at W. Church and Dowell sts. She was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest.She was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center for a blood test that revealed a .19BAC. She also had in her possession drug paraphernalia, police added.Lloyd was charged with DUI by a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and a stop sign violation.
