Tamaqua police are investigating a reported burglary that took place sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. on July 31.

Luis Orlando Sotomayer, 54, and Charlotte Miller, 48, both of 238 E. Broad St., told officers they discovered the robbery when they returned home that evening.Items listed missing include jewelry and narcotics.Entry may have been made through a previously broken laundry room window.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at (570) 668-6100.
