PVSD lifetime pass

The PVSD is offering an opportunity for all Pleasant Valley School District residents over the age of 65 to enjoy a Bears Senior Lifetime Pass.Pass holders can attend all PV sponsored extracurricular activities and performing arts events.To get a lifetime pass, stop by the PVSD Administration Office next to the PV middle school on Route 115 in Brodheadsville, during regular business hours.Summer hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.When school begins, the hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. ID showing proof of age, and residency is required.Blood driveThere will be a blood drive at Salem St. Paul's Lutheran Church in honor of JoAnne Fitzpatrick, Sunday, Aug. 7 after worship. The Red Cross Bus will be there from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.Happy BirthdayMary Lou Hawk celebrated her 65th birthday on Aug. 2. Mike Meckes celebrates his birthday on Aug. 9.
