A Lehighton man will be cited by Tamaqua police following an incident on July 23.

An officer on patrol at 3:09 a.m. observed a green Dodge Dakota traveling west on Rowe Street, with the tires squealing. A vehicle stop was made and the driver identified as Brian L. Wolfe, of 416 S. Third St.Wolfe told officers he was unable to perform field sobriety tests due to a medical issue.He consented to and was taken for a portable breath test.The results indicated a .151 blood alcohol content, almost twice the legal limit of .08.Wolfe will be charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.
