East Stroudsburg man facing 60 counts of assaults on children

An East Stroudsburg man is behind bars after being arraigned on 60 counts involving sexual assaults on three young boys.

The incidents in question allegedly occurred in Gilbert.Shawn Michael Kyttle, 20, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge JoLana Krawitz of Stroudsburg.The youth were ages 3, 5, and 6.Kyttle was arrested after Trooper Patrick Finn of the Lehighton barracks of the state police and Kate Croll of the Monroe County Children and Youth conducted an investigation of the sexual assault of the three children.Trooper Finn wrote in the public information release report, "Due to the extremely graphic nature of the details of the sexual assaults, specifics will not be given at this time."District Judge Krawitz listed bail for Kyttle at $150,000.Among the five dozen counts filed against Kyttle are involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault, indecent exposure, endangering welfare of children, and corruption of minors.A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled before Krawitz at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1.
