Workers prepare halupki for the 41st Annual Men of Marian Summer Picnic, which will take place July 29-31, on the school grounds. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. Friday with music provided by "Kartune." The event will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday with entertainment from the country band "Crazy Heart." Sunday's event will begin at 4 p.m. with music from "Remember When." A flea market will again be a part of the picnic. Three huge tents will cover the entire picnic grounds, giving those attending a chance to relax in a family atmosphere, meet alumni and friends, enjoy traditional food, games and prizes. The event will be held rain or shine. The picnic has a goal of raising over $20,000, all of which is used to fund costs associated with the operation of the school.
