From the moment Peter Noone entered the stage at Penn's Peak, his high energy excited and entertained his fans who came as far away as Canada and Brazil to see his show. Peter played to a nice size crowd on Friday night at Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe.

Noone's charisma and boyish looks brought fans from all ages, from young children to women who are in the 80s.The first 20 rows of seats were filled with "Noonatics" those special fans who attend nearly every show and are part of his fan club.Noone announced that for "Rose of Canada," this was her 605th Peter Noone show.Noone, with his band Herman's Hermits, started the concert with "I'm Into Something Good," and then sang "Wonderful World." He added more of his hits, and interjected some of his classic comedy that pokes fun at his songs, his "mum," himself, other performers and local landmarks.He sang "Sea Cruise," "No Milk Today," "End of the World," "Just a Little Bit Better," "Silhouettes," "Listen People," Mrs. Brown You Have A Lovely Daughter," "Henry the Eighth," and Kind of a Hush."He said that he felt like he was 17 years old again and not 63, his actual age, as he engaged the audience into singing along. At times he galloped across the stage as he did his parity on country music."I used the GPS and heard Maury Road, and Fairyland Road," he joked. "What is Fairyland Road?"Locals know that Fairyland Road is one of the main arteries in Franklin Township that is named after a farm owned by the Miller family, but Noone was enchanted with the sound of the name.Noone also commented that he enjoyed being on the wide stage of Penn's Peak.As the night continued, so did Noone's songs and antics that kept the crowd immersed in the sounds of the British Invasion music that tore through America in the early 1960s and made him famous throughout the world.Noone admitted that his favorite song was, "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat," but added that all of his favorite songs were the songs that made number one in America.Noone proved to be a multitalented performer as he played the guitar and harmonica during the concert.For Andreaa Zimmerer, Bethlehem, seeing Peter's show was a lot of fun. "Great show. He still has the voice," she remarked.Zimmerer traveled with her cousin, Deb Hepler, also of Bethlehem. "I had a lot of fun. It was like being a teenager again. His voice is as good as it ever was."For Nancy Kranyecz of Quakertown, she said this was her third Peter Noone show and she wasn't disappointed. "He puts on a great show and he has a lot of energy for a 63 year old man."Linda Klemizk of Nazerath, said, "I love him. I'm in love."Noone was born in Manchester, England, where he studied voice and acting at St. Bede's College and the Manchester School of Music and Drama.
