Jim Thorpe man receives Knights Templar Cross of Honor

William H. Trout, Jim Thorpe was recently awarded the Knight Templar Cross of Honor, the highest award that can be bestowed on a Knight Templar.

The award is presented annually to a Knight Templar who has distinguished himself in service to the Order, far beyond the call of duty and beyond the service usually expected of an officer or member.Trout is a member of Packer Commandery 23, Jim Thorpe, and is currently serving as Division Commander of Division 7. He has served in numerous capacities for the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Pa., a Christian Masonic Order of Freemasonry.The award was presented by Sir Knight Vincent A. Cowie, department commander; David Dixon Goodwin, deputy grand master of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the USA and S. Timothy Warco, right eminent grand commander of Knights Templar of Pa.
