Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests that are pending.

On July 14 about 2:30 a.m. police conducted a vehicle stop along SR423 in Coolbaugh Township, for a vehicle code violation. The driver was identified as Salvatore Jannotti, of Glendale, N.Y. Officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Jannotti. He failed field sobriety tests and was transport to the Pocono Medical Center (PMC), East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.On July 16 about 2:36 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle along SR611 in Mt. Pocono for a vehicle code violation. The driver was identified as Jerome Lutz, 27, of Stroudsburg. Officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Lutz. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken to PMC for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results.
