Hartman failed to get out of his vehicle and after being removed he continued to struggle and refused to be handcuffed. He was eventually handcuffed. He was charged with resisting arrest, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned before duty District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek, of Lansford, and committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning after failing to post $35,000 cash bail.
