State police at Fern Ridge are seeking a person who entered a Carbon County home and then fled. Troopers said the incident occurred about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, at the home of Christopher A. Ohl, 330 Cold Spring Drive, in Penn Forest Streams, Penn Forest Township.

Troopers said a male entered the home through a door. Upon entering the family dog started barking and a member of the family walking down the stairs scared off the intruder.The suspect was described as a black male, tall and thin, was wearing black long-sleeve shirt and black shorts and had on a black baseball cap with a white letter "P" on it.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570)-646-2271.
