Lansford's buisness section was crowed for the presentation of the final awards made by the New Deal Association, composed of merchants who had joined together to offer some inducements to shoppers to do their buying in Lansford. For 13 weeks the merchants have been awarding prizes of $50 in cash. Tonight's final prize is $500. A voice vote occurred to either divide the prize among five winners ($100 each) or the $500 to one winner. It was opted to give one winner the $500.
