Members of the Armed Services were given tribute during a two-day Armed Forces Tribute event held Saturday and Sunday at the Eckley Miners' Village in Eckley.
In addition to more than a dozen military and war oriented displays, visitors had to opportunity to enjoy a USO show, period communion service, children's play and tree dedication ceremony.A large display of military and war artifacts was also on display, courtesy of Endless Mountains War Memorial Museum in Sonestown.Eckley's next patriotic event will be their Living History/Civil War weekend scheduled for August 20 and 21.
