In a story on page 3 of Thursday's TIMES NEWS concerning the appointment of Atty. Claude A. Lord Shields, by the Schuylkill County Commissioners, as their new solicitor information concerning the former solicitor was not clear.

Atty. Eric Mica, of Shenandoah, is expected to be appointed solicitor for county Coroner Joseph Lipsett, which is a job not as demanding as county solicitor. The story indicated that Mica resigned for personal reasons but did not note that he would be appointed to a new post.Atty. William Reiley, Pottsville, who has been the coroner's solicitor, is expected to return to the district attorney's office where he previously had served as an assistant district attorney. He will also be in line to be named first assistant and fill when District Attorney James P. Goodman resigns his position to become a judge on the court of common pleas, which he was elected to in the primary election. Goodman won both nominations in the primary.
