Lions ClubThe Summit Hill Lions Club will hold a golf committee meeting tonight at 6 o'clock at Kelly's Pub, Lansford. Plans for the annual outing to be held in August will be furthered.Lions are reminded the club members have been invited to attend the summer picnic of the Tamaqua Lions Club. Communion will be observed on the first Sunday of each month.LansfordTrip for serversSt. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, will sponsor a free trip to the Scranton Yankees-Louisville Bats game on Saturday, Aug. 6, for all altar servers and their parents. Information about the trip will be mailed to the families.OLOAA sign-upsRegistration for the 2011-12 school year at Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, is now under way. Parents can register their child(ren) at the school office from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Other arrangements can be made by calling the school office, (570) 645-7170 or 645-7101.Children registering for kindergarten must be 5 years old by Oct. 15 following the September when they enter school.
