Pocono Mountain Regional police reported investigating a crash in which a vehicle ran into a Monroe County business.

Police said the crash occurred about 5:38 p.m. on July 7 at Brother Brunos Restaurant located in the Mt. Pocono Plaza.Police said their investigation revealed that Miguel Nunez, 39, of Blakeslee, was traveling through the parking lot when, for unknown reasons, he failed to negotiate a curve and drove over the curb and into the restaurant. Nunez and his front seat passenger, who was identified as Craig Defontes, 52, also of Blakeslee, were extracted from the vehicle by Pocono Summit Fire Company volunteers and then transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of injuries.The investigation into the crash is continuing, police added.
