A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Sunday, July 3, on a charge of defiant trespass.

State police at Frackville said Bruce Haas, 32, of 275 Cold Run Rd., New Ringgold, East Brunswick Township, reported a person was trespassing on his property.Troopers said Kemper Ritchie, 43, of New Ringgold, was located and placed under arrest for defiant trespass. He was arraigned by duty District Judge Carol Pankake, of Tremont, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post 10 percent of $10,000 bail.
