Salvatore Dorsa, 52, of Pocono Summit, is facing several charges after Pocono Mountain Regional Police responded to a domestic disturbance at 7:07 p.m. June 27 in Long Pond.

Police said they responded to 109 Minsi Trail West in the Emerald Lakes development and were told by Tina McAndrew, 42, of Long Pond, that Dorsa had assaulted her. Police then observed the man attempting to leave the scene, at which time his vehicle crashed into another vehicle in the driveway.Dorsa is charged with simple assault and harassment, as well as driving under the influence of alcohol. No one was hurt in the crash.The man was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, after his arraignment.
