July 1, 1976 Northwestern rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out a 6-5 Lehigh Valley Legion win over Southern Lehigh. Dave Oswald opens the winning frame with a double and Ron Weiner homers to tie the contest. A single, error, walk and wild pitch allow the game-winner to score. Wiener and Oswald each finish the contest with two hits and two runs scored while Wolf keeps Southern Lehigh scoreless over the final three innings to gain the pitching win.
