State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle.

Troopers said Andrea Dinofa, 3 Lost Creek St., in Lost Creek, near Shenandoah, reported her 2003 Chevrolet Impala, silver in color, was stolen from her residence about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 26. The car was involved in a hit and run accident in Frackville about 3:30 a.m. on Monday, June 27, troopers said.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
