Miss Mary Hunsicker, Lehighotn, has been chosen by her peers as "Nurse of the Year" at the Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. A graduate of Lehighton Area High Schoolwho holds her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, she is employed in the neo natal intensive care unit at the hospital. She was awarded a plaque at a tea held in her honor at the hospital. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hunsicker of Lehighton and the late Jean (Showalter) Hunsicker.
