St. Jerome's Regional School is offering a second session of summer performing arts camp for Tamaqua area students in grades 2-8.The session will conclude with a full musical production.In addition to performing, participants will learn about directing plays, set building, staging and communication skills.The camp will run from July 11 to July 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Features will include intensive acting, singing, movement, fun activities and play time.For more information, call (570) 668-2757.Democrats to meetThe Eastern Schuylkill Democrats will meet Monday, June 27, at 7:30 p.m., at the East End Fire Company.The group is open to all Schuylkill County citizens who reside east of Pottsville, including the Boroughs of Middleport, Tamaqua and Coaldale, as well as all the townships and Villages in between.New members are always welcome.SS.
