Jim Thorpe Borough Council received assurances from the Union Pacific Railroad Company that, even if it should decide at some future date to mine uranium in Mt. Pisgah, it will not be done by open pit or stripping methods. Melbye, chief geologist, mining, and two other representatives of Union Pacific.
