A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of retail theft.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were called to the Shop Rite store in Mt. Pocono, about 4:10 p.m. on Monday, June 13, for a person being detained by store security for theft. The person was identified as Lisa Ann Caprioli, 49, of Cresco.Police allege that Caprioli attempted to leave the store without paying for $99.59 worth of merchandise. She was issued a citation and released, police said.
