State Rep. Jerry Knowles is making free copies of the 2011 Pennsylvania Fair Guide available to his constituents. The guide lists the dates, locations and contact numbers for more than 100 agricultural fairs/events scheduled for this summer and fall.The state Department of Agriculture also hosts the annual Pennsylvania State Farm Show, the largest indoor agricultural exhibition in the country. Present were Randolph Gormley, Carl Boettger, Shirley Becker and Health Enforcement Officer James Barron.Barron reported making one general inspection at the Bungalow concession stand. He made six spot check inspections at Luigi's Pizza, Tamaqua Diner, China Moon, Tommy's Specialty Shop and Padora's Six Pack House Grande Pizza. He adjusted eight complaints three garbage, one broken sewer line, two infestation, one dog dirt, one strong odor.
