A Schuylkill County motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash that occurred about 12:07 p.m. along SR61 just south of 3C's diner in West Brunswick Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Lynn Weaver, 67, of Orwigsburg, was pulling out of the parking lot of the diner in a 2006 Dodge Dakota pickup truck attempting to cross 61 to go northbound.She pulled into the path of Joshua Roark, 32, of Orwigsburg, operating a 2005 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle, who was southbound in the left lane. The front of the cycle collided into the left rear of the truck. Roark was thrown from the bike and came to rest face down in the left lane. He was transported to the West Reading Hospital with serious injuries, troopers said.Upon impact the truck spun counter-clockwise across both lanes and came to rest on the east shoulder.Weaver was not injured but her passenger, Lucienne Weaver, 66, of Orwigsburg, sustained a minor injury.The investigation into the crash is continuing, troopers added.
