Pocono Mountain Regional police reported the arrest of two individuals for public drunkenness.

On Thursday, May 26, about 1:39 a.m. officers on patrol and at the Beach Lane parking area in Pocono Farms observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot. As officers approached the vehicle they saw a female coming out of the woods and a male seated in the front passenger seat.The female, later identified as Carol French, 42, of Tobyhanna, originally stated she was taking pictures of the nearby lake. It was determined that she was in the woods urinating. The male was identified as William Marini, 38, also of Tobyhanna.Both displayed signs of intoxication, police said, and were issued citations. They were later turned over to a family member.
