The Schuylkill County Football Coaches Association All-Star game will take place this Saturday evening at Rotary Field in Schuylkill Haven.

There are 14 local TIMES NEWS coverage area athletes taking part in this weekend's game, which will begin with an opening kickoff at 7 p.m.Jim Thorpe has eight members, while Marian and Panther Valley both have three players who will take to the field as members of the North team.Representing the Olympians will be Dante Lynch (center), Sean Leslie (offensive guard), Tyler Mangold (offensive guard), Wes Hurley (offensive tackle), Terry Moll (quarterback), Jon Fritz (defensive back), Sean Green (punter) and Shane Edwards (running back).Representing the Colts will be Dom Richards (tight-end), JT Keer (wide receiver) and Evan Bellizia (linebacker).Representing the Panthers will be Josh Vega (running back), John Owens (offensive lineman) and Frank Celentano (defensive tackle).Players from Mahanoy Area, North Schuylkill and Shenandoah Valley will join the area players on the North squad.The South team is made up of players from Blue Mountain, Minersville, Nativity, Pine Grove, Pottsville, Schuylkill Haven, Tri-Valley and Williams Valley.
