No injuries, but major damages

There were no injuries but major damages to two vehicles involved in a crash that occurred about 3:32 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, along Little Gap Rd., at Forest Inn Rd., in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said a 17-year-old male was operating a 2000 Ford Ranger and stopped at a stop sign on Little Gap Rd. while Matthew Dait, 18, of Palmerton, was driving a 1995 Toyota 4-Runner northbound. Dait was behind another vehicle and after it passed the intersection with Forest Inn Rd., the juvenile began to pull out to make a left turn when his vehicle was struck by Dait's vehicle.
