DUI arrests

State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.

On May 13 at 10:04 p.m. troopers stopped James D. Bodai, 43, of Wind Gap, along Kunkletown Road at Ross Road in Ross Township, Monroe County, for a stop sign violation. At the stop Bodai was found to be under the influence and was taken for a test. The charge is pending.On Monday, May 16, at 4:17 p.m., troopers stopped Randolph Anthony Wade, of Long Pond, along SR33 southbound in Hamilton Township, for speeding, going 45 miles-per-hour through a construction zone. At the stop Wade was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.
