Both sides in an altercation that occurred about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 22, were cited.

State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred along SR209 at Luna Rosa, in Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Daniel Patrick Casey, 34, of Roebling, N.J., and Paul H. Christman, 40, of Sciota, engaged in an altercation at the above location. Both were issued a citation for harassment.Troopers also reported on an incident that occurred at Palmerton Area High School in Lower Towamensing Township. Troopers said a 14-year-old female student pushed and struck a 17-year-old female student at the school. The 14-year-old was cited for harassment. The incident occurred about noon on Friday, May 20.
