Tamaqua police cited two people May 27 after an altercation at 212 1/2 Orwigsburg St.

Officers were dispatched to the home at 6:43 p.m. and spoke with Raymond Reinert, 51. Reinert told officers he had been attacked by Michelle Valentine Rex, 36, of 220 1/5 Penn St., Tamaqua. Officers then contacted Rex at her home who said Reinert pushed her first.Both were cited for disorderly conduct and Schuylkill County Children and Youth were notified due to conditions found at the Rex home.
