Fire companies from two counties responded to a dwelling fire Saturday morning along SR895 in West Penn Township. The fire was first reported just after 10 a.m. as an electrical fire but was soon upgraded to a dwelling fire. The West Penn Fire Company No. 1 was backed up by the Community Fire Company of New Ringgold as well as the Mahoning Valley and East Penn fire companies from Carbon County. Firefighters were on scene for an hour. The Schuylkill County Parcel Locator reports the property at 305 Lizard Creek Road as being owned by Darryl and Denise Moyer. No injuries were reported in the incident. The Penn Mahoning ambulance and West Penn police responded to the scene. West Penn fire police maintained traffic control at the scene.
