A Tamaqua man was cited following an incident in the Spruce Street area on May 16.

Police were dispatched to 107 Hunter St. at 10:16 p.m. where they met Christopher Kieffer, 25, of 344 Arlington St. Kieffer told officers he had been walking along Spruce Street when a white Mitsubishi SUV pulled up. A male identified as Henry Winger, 29, exited the vehicle and proceeded to sucker punch Kieffer's left cheek. Winger then reportedly got back in to the vehicle and left the scene.Winger was cited for harassment.
