The Carbon County Environmental Education Center will host a workshop about slimy animals for kids of all ages at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4 at Mauch Chunk Lake Park.

Participants will take a closer look at some slimy animals, learn about slime and what its purpose is and then make and take home two different kinds of slime.Please wear old clothing.The center is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park along Lentz Trail, Jim Thorpe.Call (570) 645-8595 to register or for more information.
