Welcome to The Locker, which recently opened at 306 Delaware Avenue in Palmerton.The business carries men's, women's, and children's sweatshirts, sweat pants, T-shirts, jackets and tank tops in brands such as Champion, Soffe, Jerzees, and Izod.Owner Debbie Ruzicka said customers can expect quality products at affordable prices."Our ultimate goal is to make it easier for the people not to have to travel to Allentown for their sportswear," Ruzicka said. "Our pricing is less expensive than the malls."Ruzicka said the building's location was attractive because it's located by her Simply Something restaurant at 312 Delaware Avenue, which she has owned since Nov. of 2003."We liked the location, and knew it was coming open," she said. "We just wanted something new, something different."Ruzicka said her children, Jordan, 18, Paxton, 16, twins Shania and Storme, 14, and Izabel, 10, assist her at both businesses."We're balancing it," she said. "It teaches them how to manage money and get a grip on reality."The Locker is open from 12-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 to 5 Saturday.
