Theodore Gluck of Lansford, recently appointed Carbon County Court Crier and Librarian, assumed the role for the first time today when he opened Court with the familiar cry of "Oyez, oyez, oyez."

Mr. Gluck went through the cry with nary a hitch despite the fact that County Commissioner Daniel Bynon of Summit Hill, former Court Cryer, was on hand to render assistance if needed.No business appearing on the day's docket, Judge James C. McCready adjourned court until Friday at 9 a.m.
