Two Monroe County residents were cited following an incident.

State police at Fern Ridge said troopers were called to 66LE White Pine Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, about 4:44 p.m. on May 6. Troopers learned that Jessica Hendershot, of Bethlehem, and Gregory Tucker, of Saylorsburg, were taking a nap in the bedroom of the residence when Tucker woke up to change the diaper on their son.He asked Hendershot to help him. She got upset because he woke her up. Tucker struck Hendershot in the head and she got out of bed and struck him in the mouth, troopers alleged.Both were arrested for simple assault and harassment and placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.
