Danielle Ann Woods, 22, of 30 W. Holland St., Summit Hill, was arraigned before District Judge Stephen Bayer, Tamaqua, Thursday afternoon for allegedly stealing and forging a check from a client. Woods was employed as a caregiver for the victim at the time of the March 3 incident. Woods allegedly attempted to cash the other woman's Social Security check. Charged with forgery, theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception, she was escorted to her arraignment by Tamaqua Patrolman Michael Hobbs. Bail was set at $10,000 unsecured.
