Pocono Mountain Regional police reported investigating a crash in which a vehicle rear-ended a stopped school bus. The crash occurred about 6:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, along Long Pond Road at East Emerald Lake Drive.

According to police Esperanza Ramirez, 38, of Swiftwater, had stopped the bus to pickup children. She said once the children were seated she felt an impact to the rear of the bus.Lindsay Hiller, 29, of Long Pond, was driving the vehicle that struck the bus. She told officers she was northbound and for unknown reasons failed to stop and hit the bus. No one was injured, police said.The investigation into the incident is continuing, police added.
